Semi-edible garden with pond and wildlife area

This garden was designed for a well-travelled couple who yearned for an outdoor sanctuary but felt overwhelmed by their sloping landscape. The brief was to create a semi-edible paradise that would nourish both the homeowners and local wildlife, while naturally mitigating garden pests. The result is a unique garden abundant in unusual edibles and vibrant, nectar-rich blooms that spill over bountiful borders. The installation of a bog pond and a predominantly evergreen wildlife area towards the rear of the garden further enhances the ecosystem, inviting native predators to naturally control pests like slugs and snails.
