The modern Victorian home

The front and back gardens of this large Victorian house needed uniting. The design brief was to create beautiful yet functional and stylish gardens that could house a family and their love of the outdoors and socialising. So the grandeur of the era was reinstated at the front, with a formal entrance, steps and paved pathways and bicycle storage. A dramatic, romantic and beautiful planting plan designed to reflect the era and provide habitat and year-round interest. The back garden was laid out with formal raised vegetable beds, garden storage and a greenhouse. Borders were replanted with strategic tiered planting, to give privacy and unity. The children were provided with a range of play equipment and a sunken trampoline. A large outdoor kitchen, seating areas and table tennis area were designed for entertaining and enjoying time with friends and family.
